Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some common questions about our Escape Rooms.

If you have any other questions, requirements or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Who plays these escape games? Geeks, Nerds and Dorks… Right?
WRONG!  Sorry to bust the myths but our games are for anyone.  There are no gender, age or race boundaries, in fact it brings all sorts of people together, classmates, flatmates, workmates, family, the list is endless!  Whether you’re celebrating pending nuptials or civil partnerships, birthdays, anniversaries, gathering colleagues together for team building or just need an excuse to catch up with friends and have fun, this is the activity for YOU!
Is there an age limit to play these games?

We feel our games are suitable for anyone over the age of 11 upwards, but please don’t take our word for it, as a responsible adult please read the information on the game and gauge the suitability for yourself.  Players between the ages of 11-16 must be accompanied, in the escape room, by at least one paying adult.

Will we be sharing the game with people we don't know?

Once you book a time slot the hour is solely for your crew.  There may be other players in reception when you arrive, but they will be waiting to play one of our other games.

When should we arrive?

It is important for you to arrive no later than 15 minutes before your allocated time slot, as your game will begin promptly at the booked time.  You don’t all have to arrive together, we have a lovely reception area where you can wait for the rest of your team in comfort.

What should we do if we are running late?

As you can appreciate we have a game schedule to keep to so, as soon as you are aware you might not make it on time, please call us straight away on 01795 535722.

Each occasion will be assessed according to duration of lateness, staffing levels, other booked games, etc. but we will do our best to help you.

What happens when we arrive?

On arrival we may look shut, but just press the intercom buzzer and one of our friendly team will greet you and check your booking details.   Once in reception your Games Master will deliver a short, detailed briefing of Health and Safety do’s and don’ts, this is also your opportunity to ask any questions you may have and finally make that all-important bathroom visit!

Once inside your game the clock is set to 60 minutes and counts down to zero.  This is the length of time you have to complete your mission, if you complete it in less time… WELL DONE!  If not, sadly you have failed and it’s game over.

How much time should we allow for the whole game experience?

We recommend you plan to be with us for about 90 minutes.  This includes the arrival time, game brief, 60 minutes in the room, end debrief and optional team photo.

Is there a dress code?

Wear whatever you feel comfortable in and preferably flat footwear, but please be mindful that you may have to get into some tight spaces or crawl around to find things and you may get a little dirty!

What can I take in the room with me?

We prefer you only take essential items with you into the games rooms (water, prescribed medication, glasses, etc.) this will allow you to have both hands free for any tasks and not leave anything behind!  Personal belongings can be stowed in the security lockers provided.

Please don’t give the game away!

As a nation of social media fans, we understand the need to tell friends what you’ve been doing, we even provide free Wi-Fi for you, but please refrain from taking photographs or video whilst playing our games.  We want everyone to have the same experience when entering our rooms and not feel like they’ve been there before!  Also, mobile phones can be such a distraction and feel you’ll get the best out of your experience by leaving the outside world behind, it’s only an hour viagra senza ricetta!

The good news is we take a team photo at the end of your game and upload to Social Media.

PLEASE REMEMBER NO SPOILERS!  If you reveal how things are done or give clues away it’ll ruin the experience for them when they come to play!!

Team players with disabilities and/or medical conditions, can they still play?

Disabilities and medical conditions come in many forms and whilst every effort has been made to accommodate everyone, some games may not be suitable for all.

The ground floor is wheelchair accessible, along with access to the downstairs toilet facilities, however, we do not have a lift access to the upstairs games rooms so may not be able to accommodate some wheelchair users.

Please give us a call, prior to making your booking, we will be more than happy to discuss any specific needs and, where possible, make additional arrangements to accommodate you.

We have pregnant team players; can they still play?

Hey Congratulations!  Of course, you can play our games, after all it is a team activity and there is always something to do, don’t do anything you don’t feel comfortable doing, let your team mates take the strain, that’s what team work is all about!

However, please let us know in advance, our escape games rooms are up a staircase on the first floor and we may need to make some adjustments to our rooms… oh and ensure we have a midwife on standby!!!

Your conduct and behaviour
Sometimes nerves can get the better of us, it’s OK to be apprehensive, enthusiastic or a little over excited, in fact we encourage all these emotions as it adds to the intensity of your game.

However, rudeness, aggression, anger and other negative behaviours directed at our staff, or any member of the public, will not be tolerated and anyone behaving badly will be asked to leave the premises immediately.

We also reserve the right to deny access to the premises and/or games rooms if any of your team appear to have had a little too much to drink or maybe under the influence of drugs.

What is your refund policy?

Sometimes, due to circumstances out of your control, it may not be possible to attend your booked slot.  Where possible, we will try our best to accommodate changes, or alternatively, when a new time slot cannot be agreed, a full refund may be given at the discretion of Management.

Can we book to play on the day?
Booking in advance is always strongly recommended, and avoids disappointment, however, check the live online booking system there may be a slots available.
I have already booked; can I add more people to my booking?

Once the booking has been made you will not be able to amend it online. However, if you wish to add additional players, providing total group size does not exceed the maximum number of players for your booked room,  call us on 01795 535722 or pay when you arrive.
